Associate Director, Alliance Management

The Associate Director of Alliance Management is an essential member of the alliance team within the Development Productivity and Quality (DPQ) department, reporting to the Sr. Director of Alliance Management. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our CRO partners, driving collaborative efforts, and enhancing the value of our alliances. This role
requires a combination of business insight, leadership skills, and excellent communication skills.
Accountabilities:
Support alliance initiatives through vendor governance, vendor oversight, customer concern management, and inspection readiness through project management activities and overseeing day-to-day tasks, to ultimately ensure smooth operation and successful execution of alliance initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout R&D, as well as Compliance, Audit, Legal, Finance, Portfolio Management, and HR, to drive joint initiatives and achieve alliance goals.
Lead operational governance of assigned supplier(s) / model(s)/service line(s) to ensure accountability and deliverables.
Find opportunities for improvement in alliance management practices, share procedures, and champion the implementation of enhancements to foster a culture of continuous improvement, efficiency, and measurable success.

Ensure all alliance management activities are fully aligned with applicable legal, regulatory, and compliance standards.
Proactively identify, address, and resolve challenges related to collaboration activities to maintain portfolio progress and meet project timelines.
Demonstrate flexibility by anticipating, evaluating, and generating solutions aligned with evolving business needs.
Lead or support company initiatives in the field to drive positive business outcomes and further organizational objectives.
Essential Skills/Experience:
Graduate degree in a science-related field or business administration, with a proven record of accomplishment in the healthcare, biotech, or CRO industry.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in alliance management, clinical trial operations, partnership management, or related roles within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to evolving project scopes and organizational needs.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities; proven track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis, interpretation, and reporting.
Success working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environment.
Exhibits high levels of energy, drive, passion, creativity, and commitment to achieving results.
